Today marks being officially overdue by one week.
We took everybody's advice and had a date night last night. I wasn't exactly feeling ready for the public so we ordered pizza and watched the movie "Fool's Gold". It was definitely what the doctor ordered, we had a lot of fun...downed an entire pizza between the two of us and drank root beer! Pretty wild night I know.
We had our visit with the midwife today and I spent about 40 minutes on the baby monitoring machine, baby is doing great (obviously loving life inside the womb!). I haven't made much progress downstairs, but I have had contractions all day today! They aren't painful but I am having them several times an hour. So I hope that they just keep getting stronger!
PS...Can you believe that in a matter of days I will be a mom! Pretty nuts.
I thought that it would be fun to see what people are thinking about Sweet Pea....girl or boy...make sure to vote.

You've got to be close...walking seemed to help get my contractions going and I was over due with both girls! I'm hoping for a girl so Eden has a little buddy(not many girls her age in Eburg)! Levi's rooting for a boy so we can set up an arranged marriage! We can't wait to see! We love you guys so much, you're going to be the best parents!
I voted girl...It is so much fun to dress up baby girls! If it's a boy, looks like it'll come down to the dowry for arranged marriages, we'll start saving today! Can't let those beautiful Teasley girls snatch him! LOL! ;)

Oh Molly! I am so excited for you guys. I'm sorry it's taking so stinking long! I can't wait to meet Sweet Pea. (Although I know you can't either!) Hang in there!

Though I voted that I think it will be a boy, I'm hoping it will be a girl!!!!! Only because I think we need more strong, athletic, grounded and well-nurtured women in the world. :-) (See, Ty, not the reason you thought!)
I just got the call that Mom and Dad are headed to Mac!!! I am so excited that I ran around our highly conservative office screaming: "I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE TODAY!!!" I think I practically gave the old dudes here a heart attack - it's good for them to have a little excitement, right???

OK, I have to apologize. I jumped the gun... Mom and Dad are headed to Mac, but I talked with Ty and he said nothing is happening...yet. When I know something, I will let all of you know; I promise.

9:19pm and Grandma Chris called to say Molly was less than an hour to delivery as she is at 9 cm. now!!! Sweet Pea will soon be here! Keep Ty, Molly and Sweet Pea in your prayers:) What a blessed time.
In case you haven't heard, Molly delivered a healthy baby...GIRL!!! last night at about 11:00 PM. Unfortunately, I do not have any other information other than both mom and baby are fine.
I will post more if and when I get more info.

Baby Girl Matthews weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces and 21 inches long... Grandma Matthews says she has huge hands and feet, and is absolutely beautiful, with lots of short black hair. We are all so excited, and I know you are, too!

She sounds so sweet!! All the grandparents and aunties must be over the moon!! I am dying to see pictures... does baby girl Matthews have a name yet? :) Congratulations Matthews and Rogers!
The baby's name is Mya Karen Christine Matthews - I love it!
